Facilities
Water
There is a free supply of fresh potable water at various locations on the pontoons and outside the toilet / shower block.
Electricity
All plug-in points are protected by 16amp overloads / RCB's and are individually metered.
Toilet / Shower
A toilet and coin operated shower are located at the far end of the quay. Ship's toilets should not be used within the marina.
Disabled Facilities
A wheelchair is available from the Marina Manager upon request. Disabled parking and toilet facilities are located on the quay.
Laundry Facilities
The coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the main office block. Keys are available from the office.
General Safety
Fire extinguishers and life jackets are located at regular intervals in large red boxes on the pontoons.
Please only use them in the case of an emergency.
First Aid Box
Please contact the Marina manager for First Aid facilities. All accidents should be reported to the Marina Manager
Spill Kits
Various types of spill kits are available from the Marina Manager who should be informed of any spillages.
Car Parking
There is ample free car parking on the quay and within the graveled car park. Please observe the 5 mph speed limit and always park showing consideration to others.
Refuse
Bins are located on the quay for household waste only. Arrangements can be made, via the Marina Manager, for the disposal of batteries / waste oil.
General Information
Adverse Weather
Please do not go out onto the pontoons in adverse weather conditions unless absolutely necessary. The pontoons can be slippery when wet or icy.
Suitable footwear should be worn at all times when on the pontoons.
Bridges and Locks
The lock into the Norfolk Broads is opened daily during the Summer and by arrangement in Winter.
The bridge to the North Sea opens daily at 7am, 9am, 12pm etc.
Marina Etiquette
Please show consideration to your fellow berth holders at all times.
Young children should be supervised at all times.
Cleaner
The toilet / shower block is cleaned regularly.
Please notify the Marina Manager if you notice any problems.
Equipment Hire
The marina has a selection of equipment for hire and include items such as pressure washers, tools, water pumps, etc.
